Why should I take a conditioning class?

Conditioning is critical for injury prevention, strength building, and proper form. When it comes to aerial and circus arts, all thrills come with risks. Conditioning the body is the most important step in being a healthy, happy aerial acrobat. In our conditioning classes, we:

  • build strength while targeting and activating specific muscle groups used by aerialists and acrobats (which cannot be targetted in typical workout routines)

  • teach proper form and posture that improves muscle memory and safe mobility on apparatuses

  • improve flexibility

  • educate students on aerial and body mechanics to improve bodily awareness both in and outside the studio

Conditioning classes set students up to enjoy the wonders of aerial and circus arts forever at any level.
